First, many apologies for the technical difficulties that have prevented me from bringing these releases to you in a timely manner. Please be advised that there has been the release of Chapters 5 and 6 from Side Story From Tokyo Savage: Passage From Servant Boy vol 5. This completes volume 5! Please also find a zipped file of the entire volume for easier download (for those of you who wait until the entire volume is complete). We're working on Volume 6 as quick as we can. It's been a while, I know! Real Life has affected myself and other members of the Dr. Ten Translation Project team. We are, however, steadily making progress. Passage Vol. 4 is nearly complete in the QC department, but requires some graphical touches. We will release the remainder of the volume all at once. Gottsu Ee Kanji, an FMA doujin, is nearly complete and will hopefully be released in the next week or so. Passage Vol. 5 has been debound and awaits scanning.

Thanks to all for your patience and understanding.

And in case you weren't aware, Dr. Ten just released Doko ga Ikenai Vol. 2! Yes, we're all excited.

Scanlation release of Side Story From Tokyo Savage: Passage From Servant Boy vol 4. ch. 1. Pardon the two week hiatus, but RL and all that ;-) Chapter 2 may be a little while in coming as well, but we're working hard. The entire volume has been scanned. The final two chapters are in preliminary cleaning. The others are in QC and SFX cleaning -- while we love Dr. Ten's tentacle scenes, they can be quite the task for SFX!

Congratulations to the winners of the free Dr. Ten doujinshi. Thank you for your kind donations for the translation of these projects.

The translation for Dr. Ten's doujinshi, Full Max, is now in hand and is currently in scanlation!

We're thrilled to be bringing you the next volume as quick as we can, but please understand that we'll be taking a bit of a hiatus (couple weeks or so) as we catch our breath and gather some momentum again!

Happy New Year, everyone! I hope you all had various dreams fulfilled during the holidays ;-)

Scanlation release of Side Story From Tokyo Savage: Passage From Servant Boy vol 3. ch. 6 and 7. We have a two chapter release this time since chapter 6 is so short! Next week is the final chapter for this volume.

Volume 6 of Passage has been received and was forwarded to the amazing translator this week! I'm sure we're all anxiously awaiting this translation.

Volume 4 of Passage has been debound and scanning begun! We might take a week or two hiatus between volumes just to get "settled" into the new volume.

A new project is almost complete: One Night Resort by Ogasawara Uki. The scanlation group is "Maple Syrup Scanlations" -- comprised mostly of Dr. Ten Translation Project members, but as this is not a Dr. Ten project, we needed a different name. And yes, there's a reason for the name ;-)

One more week left to donate towards more Dr. Ten translations and possibly receive a free Dr. Ten doujinshi! Thank you!

Updates and announcements abound today! Scanlation releases will resume this coming Friday (sneak peaks are always available at Yaoi Daily on Dr. Tensday, however).

Dr. Ten has been incredibly prolific of late, releasing Kaoru Maniac and Fool Max!! Coming up in December will be the long awaited final volume of Passage From Servant Boy, volume 6. I'll be ordering three copies of Passage and having them shipped SAL as soon as they're available at BK1 (one for translation, one for debinding and one for my shelf).

I've just installed a couple new bookcases in my home for the few hundred books I bought in Tokyo. A friend will help me organize them in the next couple months so hopefully that'll spurr me on to actually get the My Collection section of this site back in order. Enough chatter... on with the real site updates!

Icons/Avatars! LKK brings us a new avatar. Purkledragon serves up a series of new Takashi Shinohara icons from her Purkle 100 series, and some sexy Mamoru avatars. Meriusyaoiboy joins the obsession and creates some great new avatars from Dr. Ten's omake and more!

Ookami Kasumi has been incredibly passionate lately, providing numerous coloured images from the Passage From Servant Boy series, along with a nice little mini essay on our favourit silver haired bishounen, Mamoru Mitsgui. She also provides a nicely cleaned up pinup of Takashi Shinohara.

Ookami Kasumi provides examples of various types of translations, with a little help from Mamoru. Xandria joins the fray with more support from Ookami -- it's amazing what those Passage characters can say!

Four new projects have been added! Kuri-chan has agreed to translate four recent Dr. Ten doujinshi. I'll hopefully scan those up between now and Christmas so she can start working on those. Thanks to those who've been donating lately to cover the cost of Koisuru Oresama (we're so almost there). However, I've now added another request for translation funds (for the four doujinshi). If you'd like to donate a little money towards the cost of translating these four doujinshi, I'd be incredibly appreciative. Thank you so much!

Congratulations to the LiveJournal community, Dr. Ten Tenshi, for recently reaching 101 members! If you're looking for a current and active source of Dr. Ten information, speculation, fan works and more, I highly recommend this great community. It's active, it's fun... it's heaven ;-)

I have returned from a wonderful sojourn in Tokyo where I happily drowned in culture and all things otaku. I'm still a little jetlagged and have a very busy career, so please forgive the lapses.

After experimenting further with my scanlation process, I've re-evaluated how I create scanlation quality scans. I've rewritten segments of my scanning guide to incorporate a three step levelling process. Step one involves levelling during scanning. Step two involves levelling before resizing. Step three involves levelling after resizing. I really want to rewrite and reorganize this entire section of my site but fear that'll have to be a project for another time.

I have some wonderful new Dr. Ten fan creations to post, but I've been very busy. I'll hopefully get those updated in the next week.

Estimated target release dates have been set for Passage From Servant Boy vol. 1, chapters 6 through 8. The scanlation of these is proceeding. I may debind vol. 2 if I have time this weekend.

Approximately $100 only is needed to cover the new translation costs (I sent off some new volumes to Kuri-chan this week). I'm actually rather excited that Kuri-chan has agreed to take on more work. She's been a wonderful translator to work with and it's my hope that we can continue to benefit from her professional yaoi-loving, Dr. Ten-loving services. Please, if you have a few dollars to spare, a donation would be most appreciated. Thanks much. And thank you so much to those of you who've already donated -- you've totally made my year!

Reuploading the main manga database has been fraught with problems since I have English and Japanese characters. If anyone has any experience with SQL databases in multi-languages, please let me know.

I still need to add some graphics to the site, but that will have to wait until I find a moment to breathe. In the meantime, I've put direct download links on the Projects page for Sono Toki and the Dr. Ten Project page for Passage vol. 1. I've no clue when I'll get the database sorted, and I don't like NOT having downloads available for people.

The scanlation of Map vol. 1 is going really well, I think. Chapter 4 will be released this Friday, although there will be a sneak preview on Yaoi Daily this week on Wednesday and Thursday. ;-) I've also added a description for Map vol. 2 on the Dr. Ten Project page.
