Favourite things about yaoi: Yaoi is something I enjoy because it expresses something that isn't the normal. I think seeing two men together is cute. I have strong feelings about people getting to be themselves, whether thats a man loving a man, a woman loving a woman, or a man loving a woman. Yaoi lets you feel like your seeing a sort of secret world of gay men so its really exciting.

Favourite things about yaoi: Saying the hot sex is such a cop out, but I confess that I love to see the way most mangaka twine their boys into every conceiveable sexual position and scenario. I love how yaoi will push the envelope in terms of taboo subject matter, and often weave within it some clever plot (most hentai feels VERY formulaic). A good yaoi story will make me laugh, weep and angst with the characters -- perhaps I'm a masochist at heart ;-) .
